In this tour you will be able to see the world highest road (Khardong la 18,380 ft) and the beautiful monastries and villages of Diskit, Hunder, Panamik, Sumoor, Etc.. and of the famous double hump Caml Which is only found in Central Asia and Nubra Valley.
Day 1:
Early in the morning leave for Diskit,(118 km) the capital of Nubra via the world highest road and Khalsar (100 km check post for permit and wildlife) Rest in diskit for some time and leave for Hunder(6-7 km) Visit the village and the small monastery. Drive back to Diskit on the way you might see the double hump camel in the Sand Dunes. O/N hotel/Camp in Diskit (total time 8-9 hrs).
Day 2:
Early in the morning go to see the morning prayers in Diskit monastery, drive towards Panamik(hot Spring) see around and walk to Ensha monastery (250 years old, 6-7 km) then drive to Sumoor enroute stop and see Tri-Tso a small lake in between a hill. O/N hotel/camp.
Day 3:
In the Morning visit the famous Samstangling monastery, (132 year old, founded by Lama Tsultim Nima). Afer that drive back to Leh. O/N hotel
You can spend one more day in Nubra Valley if you like.
In this Tour you will see the beautiful lakes of Tsomori-ri & Tsokar, sulphur spring atpuga, hot spring at Chumathang, beautiful village, wild animals & birds,Karzok village &monastery and the nomads "changpa".
Day1:
Leh-Tsomoriri (240 km) 14000 ft leave for Tsomori-ri lake via make bridge enroute visit the famous monastery of Thiksey and hot spring at Chumathang O/N camp (7-8 hrs)
Day2:
Tsomori-ri -Tsokar(86 km) Explore the area around Tsomori-ri lake and visit the village of Karzok and its monastery Then leave for Tsokar lake. Visit the village of village of Tugche and the monastery. O/N camp (4-5 hrs)
Day3:
Tsokar-Leh(154 km) Drive to Leh via the world second highest motorable road(17,469 ft), enroute visit Hemis Monastery .
The Pangong Lake is 160 km from Leh, with spectacular view colorful mountains and Changla pass. The scenic view of colourful mountains throughout the journey makes your trip memorable.
The drive begins with photogenic view of Thiksey monastery, famous for its architectural similarities with Potala palace of Lhasa. The monastery covers an entire mountain ridge. Beyond this village, you will drive towards Changla pass, leaving the Leh Manali road on your right hand side. The long easy ascent to takes you to Changla pass through it's Pangong Lake winding roads passing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla Pass for a quick photograp and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can enjoy a cup of tea. Laeaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through many small villages of Changthang and finally you can have sudden view of the lake. The Pangong Lake is dramatic, surrounded by colorful mountains and it's reflection makes the lake beautiful. The color of the lake changes into different color throughout the day. The division of lake between India and China makes it different than the other Lake. Therefore you are allowed to go upto Spangmik only.
